I saw some interesting discussion on the website www.thefreshloaf.com (a great site for those looking for shaping and scoring tips and all things bread) regarding some of the loaves being tested for the book. I need to remind all testers that part of the agreement was no sharing of information with other testers or people outside the testing circle. I'd like to request that you hold off on all discussions among yourselves regarding problems or issues you are having with the recipes. Remember, these are still works in progress and I don't want others who are reading these open discussions to form any opinions about the book or the recipes until they see them when the book is published in the fall. These test recipes are for your eyes only and you can be assured that they will probably look quite different in their final form.
