Hi,
Ulrike, one of our recipe testers in Germany, sent this conversion formula for those of you wondering how to convert from Fahrenheit, which is used here in the USA, to Celsius, as used in Europe (and much of the rest of the world):
C= (F-32) multiplied by (.556). (Ulrike uses 5/9 instead of .556, but I converted it to a decimal so you can run it on your calculator. ) For example, to convert 400 degrees F: 400-32=368. Then: 368 <times> .556=210.168, or 210 degrees Celsius.
If anyone has any other conversions you'd like to share, feel free to send them to me and I'll post them for you. Write to me at: [email protected] Thanks Ulrike!!
Peter
